What is Believe projects 2021?
We see God moving in significant ways and there are opportunities for us to reach and serve our community this year. We know that this has been a challenging season, but also recognize that there are great opportunities to make a kingdom impact. It is a time for us to lift our heads, lift our eyes, and look ahead to the work that God wants to do in and through Mosaic in 2021! Our 2020 year-end offering has become our Believe Projects and we cannot wait to see how God moves through your generosity.
TWO MAJOR AREAS OF EMPHASIS
We see opportunities for us to make an impact not only locally, but globally as well. We have three global partners with projects that should have significant impacts. In addition our staff has been dreaming of ways that we can make an impact in our local community through various ministry enhancements, community service opportunities and new endeavors to reach people near us who need Jesus.

ROBERTS FAMILY
URUGUAY
$7,000
The Roberts will be serving in Uruguay as soon as travel restrictions are lifted due to the Coronavirus. Uruguay is one of the most secular countries in South America so the spiritual need where they will be serving is great.
1. Steiger Ministry Team in Montevideo: They are currently raising funds for Bible study materials for people far from God, evangelistic outreaches, evangelism trainings to give in other cities, and equipment for an evangelistic hard core rock band that is being formed. This helps develop the outreach of this new partner ministry the Roberts will be working with. They are making inroads into the secular cultural scene and this will help all of their ministry goals for the future.
2. Vehicle for the Roberts: Funds to help purchase a vehicle once they arrive in Uruguay. They have the majority of the funds raised, but still need some additional funding to reach their goal.
FERRY FAMILY
EQUADOR
$10,000
Empowering the Tribal Church through a Leadership Training and Discipleship Program: Chris and Tina Ferry work closely with tribal and national (latino) Christian leaders from South America. Most of these leaders have been formally trained in theology, but have not yet been equipped with practical skills for planning and strategy. Recognizing that they are best equipped to reach and teach their own people, their goal is to see local leadership in the Amazon rise up and lead ministry in their communities.
This is a 3 years process for them to coordinate a leadership training program for tribal and national missionary leaders. 30 key leaders from 6 south American countries will be trained, discipled and equipped with tools in planning, strategy and proactive leadership skills so they can be effective in their ministry amongst the tribes of the Amazon. Your gifts will help to cover the cost of meals, training materials, and to transport these gifted leaders from their tribal communities to the training site (Bogota 2021, Lima 2022, Quito 2023). The anticipated cost for this program is $20,000 in 2021.
RODRIGUEZ FAMILY
ARGENTINA
$8,000
Rock Family Center Pickup Truck: Your gifts will help provide an El Centro Familiar La Roca (The Rock Family Center) pick up truck. Their goal is to purchase a used pick up truck to for the collection of donations. They make several trips throughout the week to pickup donations for their food bank. This vehicle would make ministry so much more efficient and time effective. They would be able to reduce the number of trips required to pick up donations, carry more food resulting in better pricing because of the higher volume, and carry more food from the food bank.
The Rock Family Center serves 75-100 children and youth weekly. They provide tutoring, leadership, spiritual growth opportunities, and job skills training. They have recently opened their doors for students to submit homework online at their facilities cease many student cannot do this from home. They do all of this, in addition to serving families door-to-door and planting house churches (15 in the last year) in throughout the region.

These are projects that our staff have been dreaming up as we look ahead to 2021, believing that God still wants to make a major impact in our community through Mosaic. Scroll through and see what our staff is believing and dreaming that God can do in the coming year.

The studio
Creating an on-site studio that is dedicated to creating more content to interact with our church family throughout the week. This will allow for more high quality video content, podcasting, and more. We understand we cannot rely solely on our weekend services to connect with our community and want to create content connects during the week.
Hsm lunch outreach
As covid regulations lift, we want to create a meal and space to connect with students at the local high schools. This will be a fun and engaging weekly gathering where we feed students and build relationships with students.
Fireplace
We are planning to open our Broken Pieces Cafe during the week, providing a community space within our building. If you’ve been in that space you know it gets very cold there. The fireplace will provide warmth as well as a nice aesthetic for people meeting in that space. The fireplace will be built and installed by our great volunteer team.
Support 1st responders
We want to provide support and relief for those that are caring for our community. Our medical community and law enforcement have shown that they love where we live and we want to do something for them in return by offering: all expense paid Marriage retreats, financial assistance, meals, and more.
Kidmo large group space
Building a fun and engaging large group space for our Early Childhood kids complete with lights and sound. We want a great space for them to fall in love with Jesus through worship and Bible story time.
outdoor Playground
Building an epic outdoor playground for our KidMo kids to enjoy. This would also be a great resource for the school that meets in our building and other groups within the local community.
Women in our community
We have a big vision to meet the needs of women in our community through partnership with local non-profits (such as The Action Center) providing programs and services such as counseling, job training, and mentoring.
Worship upgrades
Investing in platforms and technology that will allow us to continue taking steps forward in both our online and in-person worship experience. We are specifically looking at enhancements to lighting, audio, and video that will allow for greater automation and improved performance.
Social Media manager
As we create more content to connect with you throughout the week we need someone to help us manage our social media at a high level. We want to improve our social media presence on the platforms we are currently on (Facebook and Instagram). We also want to expand our reach into the the realms of social media platforms such as YouTube, Tik Tok, and Snapchat.
shuttle bus wrap
Did you know we have a bus? We don’t use it often, in part because it currently has our old “Rock Community Church” branding on it. We want to wrap the bus with our new Mosaic branding and use it more frequently for Student Ministries, Second-half events, and more. The newly wrapped bus will provide some practical transportation as well as promoting our church to those who see it.
security system
While we already strive to provide a safe environment for all who worship at Mosaic, we recognize opportunities for upgrades to our camera system and our doors to enhance security.
Community center
This is a huge vision to create an off-site community center for kids and teens in the community providing a service that would be a huge benefit to the residents in our local community!
