Their ministry objective:   Both Dan and Melinda grew up as missionary kids in Spanish speaking countries.  Before they were commissioned by Converge Worldwide for the church planting ministry in Guadalajara they worked with Latino congregations in Denver.  They have been in Guadalajara for about eight years and have been a part of two church plants in an area where the population is 98% Roman Catholic.  Dan is currently the International Leader for Latin America focusing on reaching least reached peoples in the Southern Cone.  He also oversees strategic initiatives of Converge Missionaries working in the region.

Consistent area for prayer:   Please ask God to raise up more leaders to carry on the movement of church planting among the unreached in Latin America. Pray that God would give Dan and Melinda clear vision and direction in using the gifting that God has given them as they guide and direct ministry efforts in Latin America. Pray for their grown children living in the states. Pray for wisdom and energy for MeLinda as she is homeschooling Marcos.
