Interest Meeting: October 19 • 11:30 AM at Mosaic

God is moving in Bolivia—and we get to be part of it. This trip will come alongside Chris and Tina Ferry and the Three Waves Ministry, serving in indigenous regions of the Amazon. With a team of 6–12 adults, we’ll strengthen and support the ongoing work of discipleship, church planting, and community development already happening there.

If you’ve made Mosaic your home and you sense God stirring your heart for the nations, we’d love for you to join us. Come to the interest meeting on October 19 at 11:30 AM to learn more about what the trip will look like, the commitments involved, and how you can be part of the team.

Partnering with parents to raise Jesus-centered kids

Child Dedication is a meaningful moment where parents publicly commit to raising their child to know and follow Jesus. It’s not about salvation—it’s about recognizing your child as a gift from God and declaring your intent to lead them in faith and love.

During the dedication, you’ll commit to building a Christ-centered home, and our Mosaic family will commit to walking alongside you. Together, we celebrate the truth of Deuteronomy 6:5–9: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart… Impress them on your children.”

• A short orientation video to watch ahead of time—no in-person meeting required.

Uruguay Mission Trip Walk-a-Thon

Help send our team to Uruguay by walking, praying, and giving.

On Saturday, September 20 from 8-11 AM, our team will gather at Mosaic for a 10K walk-a-thon. As we walk, we’ll be praying for Uruguay, our missionaries David and Beth Roberts, and the specific ministry opportunities ahead.

Your support makes a direct impact—covering trip costs and funding ministry projects such as an evangelism outreach, repair and construction work at a community house, and a women’s tea to bless local families.

Steve and Serina Modugno grew up in Southern California and have lived in Colorado for the past 10 years. They’ve been married for over 22 years and have 2 kids: Gracie, who’s entering high school, and Jedi, who’s entering 5th grade. They’ve all been a part of the Mosaic family for almost 5 years. 

Gracie likes fashion, sports, and books. She also enjoys serving in Kidmo. Jedi’s favorite pastimes are playing with friends, playing video games, and talking about the Bible. Steve and Serina love to travel and experience new places and cultures.

Steve finished a PhD in Hebrew and Semitic Languages in 2015, but then made the “logical” shift to firefighting and has done that ever since. He is now a lieutenant with West Metro Fire Rescue and loves the excitement and opportunity for influence he has with the fire department. Steve still loves to teach the Bible and does so in the Grow Together series. Serina co-facilitates a rebuilding faith group at Mosaic. She was a teacher for several years and is now a para. Together, Steve and Serina lead a life group. 

Men’s BBQ Cook-Off

Here’s how it works:

• Taste-Testing Judges: Love to eat? Sign up as a judge (just a small donation) and you’ll sample every entry, cast a paper-ballot vote for the Cook-Off Champion, and help crown the winner.

YA Summer Unscripted

This summer, we’re making room for young adults to connect deeply and live fully. YA Summer Unscripted is a weekly gathering for anyone 18–25 to share in community, enjoy relaxed activities like lake days, hikes, campfire worship, and game nights, and have honest conversations about life and faith.

There’s no program or pressure—just a space to show up, be yourself, and explore what it means to follow Jesus in this season. Whether you’re new to Mosaic or have been around for a while, your story matters, and your voice belongs here.

At Mosaic, we love where we live—and our local teachers are at the heart of our neighborhood’s future. Every day, Kendallvue Elementary staff pour into our children; now it’s our turn to pour encouragement back into them. This summer, we’re gathering resources to host a special appreciation luncheon that will include a hot meal, personal notes, and tokens of gratitude—simple ways to say, “Thank you for investing in our community.”

Brownsville Short-Term Mission Trip Info Meeting

This fall, we’re returning to Brownsville, Texas to continue partnering with River Ministries in serving vulnerable communities at the southern border. Through hands-on ministry, relational care, and supporting our partner church, this trip is an opportunity to serve cross-culturally, grow spiritually, and be part of what God is doing through His people.

At the info meeting, we’ll be joined remotely by missionary George Solis who will share updates and insight into the ongoing ministry in Brownsville. If you’re curious about short-term missions or looking for a tangible way to live out your faith, this is a great place to start.

Join us on June 20th as we host the All Stars Club at Mosaic. This special night provides a place of belonging for individuals with developmental disabilities, creating an environment filled with fun, friendship, and faith. As a volunteer, you’ll be paired up as a "buddy" to help your participant engage in activities, feel valued, and experience the joy of community.
