RELEARNING JESUS | OCTOBER 22ND
Our 21st-century American culture is extraordinarily different from the culture in which Jesus lived.  So many teachings and works of Jesus go unnoticed or are misinterpreted simply because we’re unaware of the ancient Jewish and pagan cultural context in which Jesus lived out His mission.  Even our English translations of the Bible can cause us to miss the riches of the Scriptures.
The goal of this class is to make the Gospels come alive to you by discovering what their many storylines and events meant within the culture of those ancient people who witnessed Jesus.  If you begin to unearth these hidden treasures, you’ll gain priceless insights into the heart of Jesus and have a new-found motivation for reading God’s word.

Jesus, Atheism and Other World Religions

Now through November 13th

What do other beliefs have to say about truth, and why is Christianity THE truth? How do we understand others who believe differently than we do, and how can we show them the truth, in love, that Jesus Christ is who they’re searching for? All this and more in our Sunday morning class, Jesus, Atheism and Other World Religions.
